ROBBIE Williams will play a charity concert with Gary Barlow and Robin Gibb for Stoke-based Caudwell Children.

The black-tie Butterfly Benefit fundraising event will be held in London later this year.

Burslem star Robbie is an official ambassador for the children's charity, founded by entrepreneur John Caudwell.

Robbie said: "I have known and admired John Caudwell for a long time, he’s a top man. I

hugely respect his enthusiasm and commitment to the charity Caudwell

Children."

The gig will take place in front of 250 guests on Thursday May 12 at the Banqueting House in London, two weeks before the start of Take That’s record-breaking Progress Tour.

Trudi Beswick, chief executive of Caudwell Children, said: "We are

honoured to have Robbie as an ambassador for the charity and delighted

that we have this opportunity for him to perform for us alongside Gary

Barlow and Robin Gibb."

Applications for a table at the invitation-only event can be made by contacting events@caudwellchildren.com.
