Diana Brings Robbie and Barlow together
POP stars paid a special tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales in a Concert of Hope at Battersea Power Station last night.
All proceeds from the £25-a-head concert go to the Princess Diana Memorial Fund.
Four songs from opening act Robbie Williams got the crowd to their feet and he received warm applause when he dedicated his new Top 10 track Angel to the Princess.
Tunstall-born Robbie later shared the stage with former Take That colleague Gary Barlow in the grand finale. It was the first time the pair had seen each other in over two years.
He told the crowd: "I wanted to do the show because of the Princess, because it's a great cause and because I thought it would be fun.''
Other stars included Damage, Boyzone, Peter Andre, 911 and All Saints.
Diana supported the December concerts run in her name in previous years, raising money for good causes including the National Aids Trust and children's charity Ty Hasan.
All the tickets were sold out within 48 hours of going on sale.
