River Trent talk is rearranged
THE River Trent will be the subject of a forthcoming talk.
Historian Richard Stone will reveal details about the 171-mile-long river at Newcastle Museum and Art Gallery.
Mr Stone, from Burton-on-Trent, was originally intended to give the talk on February 21.
But it had to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions and will now be held at 2.30pm on Sunday, March 21.
The talk, organised by the Friends of the Museum, is £1 for members and £3 for the general public.
Pay on the door or book in advance on 01782 619705.
