Red card for rogue traders
THE latest 'no cold calling' zone is to be unveiled in Stoke-on-Trent today to help protect vulnerable residents against doorstep crime.
It will be launched in Glenroyd Avenue, Eaton Park, with householders given cards to put in their windows to ward off salesmen and other unwanted cold callers.

ZONES: City council cabinet member Janine Bridges.
One rogue trader recently charged a local resident £4,000 for roof cleaning work and there have also been reports of distraction burglaries.
The zone is being launched by Stoke-on-Trent City Council in partnership with Staffordshire Police and follows similar zones in other parts of the city.
