Recycle plans to make money
CHANGES to recycling services are predicted to save taxpayers around £165,000 over four years.
The changes mean families in Newcastle will be able to recycle more of their rubbish following the revamp of the borough's bottle banks.
All the sites will now take the same materials, while the locations of some have been improved as well as the quality of containers and signs.
Changes include moving the site at Morrisons, in Knutton, to bring it within the car park, and relocating the recycling containers at Freeport Talke.
