Quinn leaves Nantwich Town
NANTWICH Town manager Jimmy Quinn has left the Club with immediate effect following their Doodson Cup defeat by Curzon Ashton on Thursday night.
“Unfortunately results this season, especially at home, have been very disappointing and well below the expectations of both the board and our supporters," said Nantwich chairman Jon Gold.
“We are extremely appreciative of the contribution Jimmy has made to our club, and I know the successes that he and the team delivered last season in qualifying for the first round proper of the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history and also winning the Cheshire Senior Cup will live long in the memory of every Nantwich Town supporter.
"But this season's results have failed to replicate that, or offer the stability needed for the future development and success of the club."
