Quality care at Stafford hospital
I WISH to inform you of the truly wonderful care, I received at Stafford Hospital accident and emergency on Thursday February 2.
After being taken ill during a study day at Staffordshire University, I was taken to Stafford hospital by ambulance. Incidentally the two ambulance staff were equally fantastic.
On arriving, I was taken to resuscitation in an unstable state and I was greeted by fantastic staff who were professional, reassuring and compassionate.
As a nurse who lives in Stoke-on-Trent, trained at the University Hospital and having worked there for a large part of my career, I was somewhat anxious about being in an unfamiliar department but all my anxieties were alleviated when being cared for by such a wonderful team.

Dr Bob Coupe was communicable, reassuring and a very caring. I can't thank the staff enough. In light of the recent issues at Stafford General Hospital I have to say it was a very positive experience and I would be more than happy for family and I to be referred there for treatment again.
