Pupils put on first festive production for ten years
ANIMAL MAGIC: For the first time in almost 10 years, a school put on an evening theatre production for Christmas.
Pupils from Heron Cross Primary School performed a musical version of The Wind In The Willows to a packed school hall.
Kenneth Grahame's familiar tales from the riverbank were brought to life by 121 pupils aged between seven and 11 years old to a crowd of 235 friends and family.
Headteacher Dorrie Shenton said: "It's great to do a show. It builds their self esteem and this is a classic tale – every child should have access to this quality storytelling."
