Puncture repairs and tyre changes now available seven days a week.
MOTORISTS will be able to get a puncture repaired and tyres changed seven days a week thanks to a pilot scheme being tried at an award -winning independent retailer.
For Tyres has taken on a new member of staff so that it will now open its premises at Werrington Road, Bucknall, on Sundays, for a 13 week period to gauge demand.
Kevin Ecclestone, director, says: "We believe many motorists require our combination of excellent service and lowest prices at times convenient to them. Currently motorists who need to replace their tyres on a Sunday are limited to using the national chains so we have decided to offer an alternative.
"As always we have recruited our new member of staff locally and from the pool of currently unemployed tyre technicians. I will trial the seven day working for 13 weeks and hope to make this a permanent part of our offer. Hopefully motorists in The Potteries will appreciate this new option and help make our venture a success."
