PSYCHIC medium Tony Stockwell, pictured right, is no new kid on the block.

He first began to give psychic readings 20 years ago and has since gone on to take part in several successful TV shows such as Psychic Academy, The Psychic Detective, Street Psychic and Psychic School.

"There are lots of critics about," says Tony. "But I try to give detailed messages.

"Sometimes these can be sad but sometimes they can be funny. It's all about giving people an understanding that when we die it's not the end."

And Tony certainly isn't afraid to shy away from controversy. He's even helped to conduct an investigation into the murder of model Sally Anne Bowman for Zone Reality TV.

"The dark aspects of mediumship are difficult to deal with," says the Londoner. "I do a lot of private work for the foreign police. But I don't tend to do a lot of it as it does bring you down.

"Still most of the mediumship I do is like my stage show. It's a happy, joyful occasion and I try and be as accurate as I can."

An Evening Of Psychic Mediumship with Tony Stockwell takes place at the Victoria Hall on Wednesday, March 17 at 7.30pm. Call the box office on 0844 871 7627 for tickets and information.
