TIME CAPSULE: Artwork has been placed inside a time pod which has been sealed at Newcastle College's new building.
The art was produced by the winners of the college's recent competition. Photographers and young artists were asked for images which capture Newcastle as it is today, and how they imagine it will be in 50 years' time.

After a week of voting on the college's website, the winners were announced.
Robert Brammer, aged 14, won the Zoom open photography contest.
In the 'Visions of the Future' competition, Atlanta Chidlow, a Year 4 pupil from The Willows in Penkhull, was the winner with her drawing of a robot and Robyn Lipiec, a Year 9 pupil from Madeley High School, was victorious with a pencil sketch of what Newcastle could look like in the year 2059.
The college organised the Time Pod competitions to help celebrate the move to its £60 million new campus in January 2010.
