Just a quick message to remind everyone to prepare your animals for winter. Tortoises should be hibernating now, if you have not lost them in the garden then put them in a box with lots of hay or straw in the house, or garage. Buy in extra food, hay, bedding etc, for your rabbits and guinea pigs and be generous with all these during the winter. I like my animals to have a little more fat on them over the winter to help them preserve heat. Don't forget your reptiles in the house, if your house gets cold when you are not there make sure you have adjusted heat and light timers to compensate. Don forget the fireworks will go on for another week, so keep those aniamls in.
