Potters open up new store
STOKE City are opening another club store to take advantage of the Christmas shopping rush.
The shop opens in the Roebuck Centre, in Newcastle town centre, at 9am on Wednesday.
It will trade in the run-up to Christmas and could stay open permanently if it attracts enough customers.
The club already have stores at the Potteries Shopping Centre, in Hanley, and at the Britannia Stadium.
City official Andrew Billingham said: "This is an important step for the further progression of the Stoke City brand.
"At this stage we see it as a short-term opportunity in the lead-up to Christmas to test the water and see if there is demand for a permanent store.
"It's important to reach out to fans, giving them the opportunity to purchase merchandise and match tickets."
