WE ARE proud to say that we were there for the unveiling of the Staffordshire Saxon. It is a wonderful piece of artwork.

There was an excellent atmosphere on the evening with music and warriors in their fine Saxon dress.

We should all be very proud of Andy Edwards who is quite right when he says that Staffordshire is full of talent and skills in the arts.

The Potteries has long been famous for Wedgwood and ceramics and it's good to see the tradition continue.

We were at the museum as a family and were all proud of our heritage and the enthusiasm shown by all at this event.

Stoke-on-Trent should hold its head high.
