Port Vale: Two trialists in action as reserves held at Bury
TRIALIST strikers Andrew Herrem and Jordan Hugill were given a run out as Port Vale's second string drew 0-0 against Bury.
Vale are taking a look at Norwegian Herrem, aged 25, who has been playing for Bryne in Norway's second tier and Whitby Town's 20-year-old Hugill, a product of the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
They were the two most senior players in a young visiting side for a game played at Radcliffe Borough when chances were at a premium.
The best opportunity fell to Doug Price after half an hour but his close range effort was saved by Charlie Dibble before Ricardo Swaby headed against the bar.
