MICKY Adams pulled no punches after Vale's home defeat by the struggling Daggers after Michael Spillane's second-half header was enough to earn them maximum points.
Marc Richards had the chance to salvage a point from the penalty spot late on, but the 29-year-old's spot-kick was saved by goalkeeper Chris Lewington as Vale suffered a fourth defeat in five matches. "It was poor and I'm disappointed with the players' attitude and commitment," said Adams.

WHO WE'D LIKE TO SIGN
Michael Spillane: The versatile Irish defender-cum-midfielder joined the Daggers in November 2011 and went on to win the club's Player-of-the-Year award. Has already scored four times this season.
WHO TO BOO
Femi Ilesanmi: The 21-year-old defender has one of those surnames that are a nightmare for commentators and reporters alike, so let's keep him quiet.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE
Tony Harrington (Cleveland): This is his first full season in the Football League, although he did referee Vale's 1-1 draw at Bradford last February when Louis Dodds's fine strike was cancelled out at the death by Andrew Davies.
PROBABLE TEAMS
Port Vale: Neal, Duffy, McDonald, McCombe, Taylor, Myrie-Williams, Burge, Loft, Vincent, Dodds, Pope.
Dagenham: Lewington, Spillane, Doe, Wilkinson, Ilesanmi, Howell, Bingham, Ogogo, Gayle, Williams, Scott.
PREDICTION
Dwight Gayle steals in to give Dagenham a shock lead, but the Valiants hit back in style to win the game with goals from Ashley Vincent, Tom Pope and Doug Loft.
