Port Vale: Pope up for player of year prize
TOM Pope has been nominated for the League Two player of the year prize.
The Port Vale striker, who raced to 27 goals in record time, is one of just three men put forward for the Football League's divisional awards.
He's up against Exeter front man Jamie Cureton and Bradford midfielder Gary Jones.
The winner, to be voted for by league managers, will be announced at a ceremony in London on Sunday night.
