Port Vale: Micky Adams faces midfield poser for Wycombe clash
MICKY Adams was left counting the cost of Vale's impressive 3-0 victory over Oxford.
The Vale boss could be without midfield trio Ryan Burge, Doug Loft and Sam Morsy for Saturday's home clash with Wycombe.

Burge was carried off during last night's televised success with a tweaked knee, while skipper Loft was already sidelined with a calf problem.

Morsy picked up his fifth yellow card of the season and will serve a one-match suspension at the weekend.
"With such a threadbare squad, injuries and suspensions were always going to hurt us," said Adams.
"I've seen other teams going out and using the loan market and we haven't been able to do that.
"In many respects, that has worked for us so far because we're a close-knit group, but injuries to key players might hamper us.
"We'll look into the possibility of getting Football League dispensation about the restrictions on our squad, but we've still got people who are good enough to step in."
Adams, though, had positive news to digest with the imminent takeover of the club by businessman Paul Wildes, who watched from the stands last night.
"It cannot come quickly enough for my liking," he added.
"We've been in administration a long time, so I'm hoping it's now going to be sorted.
"I've had a brief chat with Mr Wildes and hopefully we can build a fruitful relationship and work together.
"Once his money is on table and the league see that, then it should be all done and dusted.
"He has told me if there's a player out there who I think can improve the squad to go ahead and get them, but we'll have to wait until the takeover is complete for that."
Adams was thrilled with the performance of his team, who cruised past Oxford with goals from Tom Pope, Ashley Vincent and Morsy.
"The pressure was on with a new owner in attendance, but we responded magnificently," he said.
"I wanted the players to showcase themselves on television, to showcase us as a team and the division as a whole.
"We don't get many opportunities to do that in League Two, but I think we did all those things."

“Anyone know whats happened to Murphy? came on for 10 minutes at Morecambe and looked the part, 6 footer and physical, seems to have vanished since ? last night was tremendous and given fact we,ve only lost 1 out of 6 at home should put paid to this so-called home hoodoo.”
