Port Vale: Fans' verdict
Port Vale fans have their say on the 3-1 League Two win against Darlington at Vale Park
THE win was a welcome relief, especially with Grimsby and Chester sharing a draw.

Dean Glover's decision to change his midfield and attacking line-up worked, as did pushing Louis Dodds up front to play with Marc Richards.
It's something I've wanted to see for a while, especially as he is one of the few players who can get us a goal.
He benefited from a deflection in scoring, but he did the business again and his goal just before half-time was crucial.
Dodds's goal meant the players went off to some sort of ovation rather than a tirade of boos which would have hit their confidence and led to probable defeat.
Darlington were the better side in the first half – even though they arrived at a pretty low ebb with a crippling injury list and they have gone into administration.
They were there for the taking and they crumbled in the second half.
Rob Taylor deserves his place in the team and he has never looked out of place when he's been called upon.
He hasn't been given a run in the side, but he has that confidence to take people on.
ANDY McCORMACK, Burslem
WITH four tough away games on the horizon and a relegation dogfight beckoning, the moment had arrived when a good result and whole-hearted performance were an absolute requisite and for once we didn't disappoint and deserved the win. It was nice to see Rob Taylor make an appearance and Louis Dodds back in his natural position and both had outstanding games, although Dodds was my man of the match.
The equaliser just before half-time had an element of good fortune about it, but acted as a springboard for a decent second half.
I remain unconvinced about loan signings Gall and Marshall, both of whom I feel are no better than Messrs Richman and Thompson who currently seem consigned to the bench, but there can be few complaints about this display. More of the same at Accrington please.
IAN WOODWARD, Congleton
In the opening five minutes we were bright and seemed to have forward momentum, then we reverted to type, with Griffith and Gall particularly poor in their passing, but they weren't the only ones. We struggled to clear our lines defensively and create anything going forward and again got done by a poor goal.
Dodds's equaliser before half-time was just what we needed as it ensured that fans stayed with the team, and in the second half we showed a lot more promise than in recent weeks, with some good play with pace and purpose. Rob Taylor deserved his start, gave us good pace and width and his goals-to-games ratio makes you wonder why Glover doesn't start him more often. He is surely deserving of a decent run of games now.
A decent second-half performance and a great three points which makes us virtually safe now. Hopefully we can look forward to a few more results like this between now and the season's end.
