Port Vale: Fans have their say on Vale's League Two victory at Dagenham and Redbridge
IT wasn't a high-quality game, but it was a welcome win.
It was also a relief to see us hit the back of the net, having failed to do so throughout November.
With all the turmoil that's again erupted behind the scenes, I feared the worst before kick-off.
So I'm pleased the team performed reasonably well against an admittedly poor Dagenham team.
This game could turn out to be a six-pointer if the rumours that we are close to going into administration turn out to be true. The events of the last few weeks have certainly not eased those fears.
I supported the fans' protest as I'm concerned at what is happening behind the scenes.
Perry Deakin and Peter Miller have taken control, yet we still don't know whether they have bought their shares yet.

WE dominated for long periods, although we gave away a sloppy goal.
Our equaliser was exquisite, Jennison Myrie-Williams hitting a cracking shot into the top corner.
His arrival has been like a breath of fresh air because he has the ability to beat a player.
On the downside, our delivery from corners was poor. But once Guy Madjo scored our second we always looked like we'd win.
Peter Miller and Perry Deakin have got to go because they have not been honest with supporters.
They said they had paid for their shares when they hadn't, and then voted each other onto the board.
The fact they said they were going to pay for their shares is neither here nor there.
KEV WALSHAW, Cobridge
DAGENHAM are the worst team I have seen this season. They just didn't possess enough quality.
We seemed to play more direct football and forced the pace.
There wasn't much in the way of good football on show, but the effort was certainly there.
We were getting the ball forward quickly, which meant central midfielder Doug Loft was often reduced to being a bystander.
In fact, I wouldn't have been at all surprised if the ball had been carried off on a stretcher.
I was very impressed by our two loanees and goalscorers, Jennison Myrie-Williams and Guy Madjo.
Along with Tom Pope, they worked their socks off.
Madjo's touch throughout was superb, and I'd like to see his and Myrie-Williams's loan deals extended in January.
Saying that, the club doesn't know where it's going to be from week-to-week.
I'm sad the fans' protests have started, but I'm even sadder they have been forced to take such action. We've lost trust in Perry Deakin and Peter Miller because we were led to believe Blue Sky International was going to invest £8m in the club, but it turns out it was never the case.
