Port Vale: Anyon hoping to end tough season on a high
JOE Anyon has vowed to keep his eye on the ball as he strives to end a frustrating campaign on a high note.
The 23-year-old is back in favour at promotion-chasing Vale after reclaiming the goalkeeper's jersey from Chris Martin five months after returning from a broken leg.

DELIGHTED: Joe Anyon is happy with the way things are going since his return to the Port Vale side.
In six successive starts, Anyon's only blip came in the 3-1 defeat by Northampton on March 6, when his dropped catch gifted the Cobblers their second goal at Vale Park.
But he has since shrugged off the error by helping Vale record a 2-1 home victory over Bradford City three days later before delivering a clean sheet in Saturday's 5-0 win at Chesterfield.
"We've won four and lost two in my six games back, which is brilliant for the squad." reflected Anyon.
"The Northampton game was a disappointment, but we all make mistakes.
"I've moved on from that and it was good to get a clean sheet on Saturday.
"It was one of those things. I took my eye off the ball and it cost us a goal.
"As a team, we all had to be positive and we did that against Bradford by concentrating for 90 minutes and getting the result we wanted.
"Now we're on a little roll and hopefully can build on that by finishing strongly."
The match at Chesterfield saw Anyon return to the scene of his injury, but he left Saltergate with far happier memories than a year ago after helping Vale move within three points of the League Two's play-off zone.
While Anyon is determined to play his part in Vale's play-off charge, he refuses to take his place for granted while Martin waits in the wings.
He said: "The gaffer is keeping everybody on their toes and places are still up for grabs.
"It's a case of making sure I'm 100 per cent, come through every game injury free and play the best I can."
