Port Vale: Adams has options at the back
MICKY Adams is weighing up his defensive options as he looks to put Port Vale back on track at home.
The Valiants are desperate to end a run of three defeats in four games at Vale Park when they entertain Aldershot on Saturday.

Right-back Richard Duffy returns to the squad after a virus and left-back Dan Jones is fit again following a knee injury.
But veteran centre-half Darren Purse, who has been struggling with a calf strain, and Rob Taylor look set to miss out.

"Dan has had a good week's training and he's fit and available," said Adams.
"We picked him last week, but he didn't feel quite right in the warm-up at York and didn't want to let anyone down.
"Rob has broken a bone in his hand during training this week, and he's doubtful for Saturday now.
"Darren returned to training this week, but it now looks like this game has come too soon for him. He probably needs another week."
Skipper Doug Loft returns from suspension to replace fellow midfielder Chris Birchall, who is away with Trinidad and Tobago.
Ashley Vincent is the only other absentee.
The winger injured his ankle in the midweek defeat at Bristol Rovers last week.
"Ashley's not as bad as first feared," reported Adams.
"He might be out for a while, but we're hoping he'll be back before the end of the season."
