Port Vale: Aberdeen boss blasts 'naughty' Griffith
ABERDEEN boss Mark McGhee has blasted Anthony Griffith for the "naughty" challenge which saw the Vale midfielder booked and then substituted during Tuesday's pre-season friendly.
Griffith was cautioned for a 69th-minute tackle on Fraser Fyvie, which left the Dons winger needing lengthy treatment, and McGhee seething.

GRIFF BLAST: Mark McGhee hit out after a challenge by Anthony Griffith during the 1-0 defeat against Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
"I was worried for Fraser, because it was a very bad challenge," said McGhee in the wake of the Scottish Premier Division side's 1-0 victory at Vale Park.
"Fraser went in hard as well, but what the Vale lad did was naughty, to put it mildly."
Manager Micky Adams quickly hauled off Griffith, while Fyvie was substituted himself on 83 minutes.
Adams said: "I'm one of Griff's biggest fans, but I've told all the players we have to be very careful when we put in a tackle.
"If it looks like we're showing studs, then the referee is sometimes left with no option but to take action.
"If that was a league game, it could have been a sending off."
VUVUZELAS have been banned from Vale Park.
The iconic plastic horns provided a distinctive soundtrack to this summer's World Cup in South Africa, but Vale fans will now be spared their constant drone.
