Police search for missing Stoke-on-Trent man Stephen Hancock
POLICE are searching for a missing 38-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man, described as "vulnerable".
Stephen Hancock went missing from his home address in St Paul’s Street, Middleport on Tuesday night.

He is described as white and 6ft 3in tall, with a heavy build.
He is bald on top of his head with grey hair starting to grow back and has blue eyes.

It is believed Mr Hancock was wearing knee-length khaki shorts, a black t-shirt and navy blue Adidas trainers with white soles when he went missing.
Investigating officer Sgt Scott McGrath said: “We consider Mr Hancock to be vulnerable and we are concerned for his welfare.
“Extensive searches are underway to locate him and we would ask that anyone who has seen him, or had any contact, to get in touch.
“We are also working closely with colleagues at the charitable organisation Missing People.”

“FOUND !! ALIVE but unwell...he had gone down canal and walked 14 miles to Stone. Slept under a bridge in a bush...home now..loved and on the mend xx thanks for all those helped to try and find him xx you are all stars x”

“thanks for everyone helping with posters etc...it means the world.. wish he would just let someone see him....no-one has seen him for 21 hours now...where r u unny? we love you soo much. you were getting better. Steve is joint owner of Mother town fish n chips on Swan sq..so over 6000 people have met him...please keep your eyes peeled..he is harmless to others...but we fear for his safety and state of mind due to missing his important medication..he has left everything at home. money, phone,... he is very withdrawn and theres no evidence he has eaten or drank since 10pm tues eve...have you served him a drink anywhere? water, beer?...he hasnt withdrawn any money from bank...if you have cctv on your premises please check it..we have no idea where he has gone - he does love the canal though..”
