POLICE are still appealing for witnesses to a mugging to come forward.

A 27-year-old man was walking over the bridge between Weston Coyney Road and Kendrick Street in Longton at around 9.50pm on November 26 when he was stopped by two men.

The muggers threatened him and took his wallet before running off.

The victim was left shaken but was unhurt.

One of the robbers is described as white, in his 30s, with a drawn face.

He also had a goatee beard and a mole or birthmark on his left cheek.

He was wearing a blue hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Police do not have a description of the second man.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0300 1234455 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
