Police to hold open sessions

NEIGHBOURHOOD police officers will hold a series of surgeries this week.

Residents are encouraged to take the opportunity the meet the officers who police their area and share any concerns they have.

Tomorrow, officers from the Bucknall Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) will be attending a Respect Day. PC Angela Broadhurst and PCSO Robert Guthrie will be at the shops on Southall Way, Eaton Park, between 10am and 5pm.

PCs Ivor Owens, Steve Stuttard and Kerrie Mayer from Stoke NPU will attend a firework display at Fenton Park on Cumberland Street in Fenton, between 5.30pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday.

On Friday, the residents of Shelton South are invited to meet PC Dave Marshall and PCSOs Katie Brickley and Lisa Donachie at the Thomas Boughey Children's Centre on College Road, between 11am and 1pm.

Appointments are not necessary.
