Police called to Knutton disturbance as man throws tiles from roof on to High Street
PART of Knutton High Street was closed off today while police dealt with a man throwing tiles from the roof of a building.
The man, who is believed to be in his 20’s, was on top of a building at around 11.25am on the junction of Peake Street and High Street in Knutton, Newcastle.

He has since been brought down and arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said the man had thrown a number of tiles and the road had been closed off from its junction with Milehouse Lane as a safety precaution.
