Police are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance outside a pub.

A 34-year-old local man was arrested in relation to the incident which involved a group of men outside The Wheatsheaf in Northwood at 5:30pm last night.

The man in question has been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in February.

An investigation into the incident is now underway and officers are urging witnesses to come forward – particularly those motorists who had to swerve to avoid people in the road.
