Police appeal after assault
POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing a man wanted in connection with an assault.
A 29-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was left unconscious after being struck while waiting at Manchester Piccadilly railway station.

HUNTED: Police want to speak to this man about an assault.
British Transport Police (BTP) released CCTV images of a man they want to talk to about the incident.
But he has still not been traced and no arrests have yet been made.

Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact them.
The attack took place on Saturday, March 17, shortly before 10pm, near to Station Approach at Manchester Piccadilly.
Sergeant Stuart Maw said: "This was an aggressive and unprovoked attack and I am determined we find the man responsible.
"If you recognise the man, or if you are the man himself, please come forward and help police."
