Pete Conway to come out of retirement for charity
VETERAN entertainer Pete Conway is coming out of retirement to tread the boards again this Christmas... for his favourite charity.
The singer and comedian, pictured, will join his pal Jonathan Wilkes in the forthcoming production of Dick Whittington at The Regent.
Pete agreed to take to the stage again while judging Stoke's Top Talent.
He will appear in the panto every night for the first two weeks and all his wages will be donated to the Donna Louise Children's Hospice.
After that he will fly off to Los Angeles for a well-deserved holiday.
Pete told fellow judge Martin Tideswell: "It'll be good fun.
"We are like one big family here at The Regent aren't we?
"I'm really looking forward to it."
