Painted house open to view
THE owner of the "Painted House" is opening its doors to the public in a bid to save it from repossession.
Unemployed forklift truck driver Steve Williams has spent years turning the inside of his home into a work of art, covering its walls with murals and collages.

CASH SHORTAGE: Steve Williams.
But the 25-year-old could lose his colourful Goldenhill home, unless his financial situation improves, as reported in The Sentinel yesterday.
Friends have started an internet campaign to save Steve's house, which could be repossessed by his lender after he fell behind with his mortgage.
People will be able to view the house at 11 Aubrey Street from noon and 10pm on Saturday in a bid to raise awareness of the campaign and generate vital funds.
Admission will be free but there will be a collection.
