MADAM, – Re: The letter from Michael Pellington of Trent Vale (All Our Yesterdays, July 19).

I'd like to thank him for remembering my dad Albert Kirkham in his letter about the old ABC Cinebowl.

Sadly, my dad passed away in 1987, but he had so many happy times and he had lots of fond memories of the tenpin bowling alley.

He was looking forward to the new one being built, but unfortunately, of course it wasn't to be. So, thanks again to Mr Pellington for remembering my dad.

It makes me very proud to see that people still remember him for the wonderful person he was.
