NORTON C produced the week's big shock in the Premier Division as John Ibbs and Steve Foster inspired a 7-3 win over second-placed Bradwell A.

The result saw Norton A move clear at the top when they then beat Norton C 9-1.

Brian Johns and Dave Savage finished with a perfect record for the leaders.

Wordcraft A are up to fourth after an 8-2 win over Bradwell C thanks to maximums from Garry Dodd and Billy Pegg.

The top three sides all won in Division One.

Cliff Bell's maximum edged leaders Norton F to a 6-4 victory over Bradwell E, while Derek Owen helped second-placed Fenton A defeat MESC B by the same scoreline.

Third-placed Wordcraft B's line-up of John Dawson, Michael Palin and Lee Groves inspired an emphatic victory over Penkhull C.

Their 10-0 rout keeps them three points behind Norton F.
