New role for accountant
AN experienced Staffordshire accountant has been elected vice-president of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales).
Arthur Bailey, currently a consultant with Begbies Traynor in Newcastle and chairman of Stafford Railway Building Society, is a previous winner of the lifetime achievement category at The Sentinel Business Awards.

Arthur Bailey has been appointed to a new role with the ICAEW.
He said: "Supporting ICAEW's members wherever they are will be my first priority.
"In times of economic turbulence and increasing legislation, we need, more than ever, to provide that support."
