THE regional director of developer St Modwen has been inducted into the Rotary Club of Stoke-on-Trent.

Mike Herbert, who works from the firm's Trentham Estate office, will now help fellow Rotarians raise cash for good causes across Stoke-on-Trent.

The Rotary Club is in its 85th year and was started in 1927 by Major Frank Wedgwood of Wedgwood Pottery and Albert E Gray of Gray's Pottery.

The club is made up of men and women who are, or have been, active within the city and who enjoy devoting to helping those less fortunate than themselves.

The club meets every Monday at the Quality Hotel in Hanley at 6pm.
