New date for pub decision
A MEETING to decide whether a pub can extend its opening hours has been rescheduled.
The Punch Pub Company has applied to sell alcohol at the Sneyd Arms, in Sneyd Green, until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, and not shut until 1.30am. Its current licence allows alcohol to be served until midnight every night, shutting at 12.30am.

NOISE CONCERNS: Sneyd Arms in Sneyd Green.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council's licensing sub-committee had been due to consider the application yesterday. But the meeting has been put back to allow more consultation after some residents complained they only heard about the plan through The Sentinel. It will now take place on Thursday, July 9.
People living near the Hanley Road pub have raised concerns about noise and parking problems.
