TWO nature walks tomorrow will give residents the chance to learn more about insect life at a popular beauty spot.

The free walks at Berryhill Fields will be led by a local expert.

And Peter Williams, events organiser for the Friends of Berryhill Fields, said: "The insect walks will give people the chance to learn about all the interesting insects and bugs that live on the fields while enjoying a pleasant stroll."

The fields were previously the subject of a £2million Millennium Award.

That included making them much more accessible with paths around the site, as well as upgrading the Berryhill Greenway. Sturdy footwear and a magnifying glass are recommended for the sessions.

Entry to the walks is free and anyone interested is invited to meet at the top end of Arbourfield Drive, Eaton Park, for a 10am walk, or at the Hall Hill Drive, Berryhill, entrance for the 2pm walk.
