NHS there for British people
WHAT madness. New guidelines by the NHS are telling doctors across the country that they must register any foreign patients.
They have been told health tourists must be given free treatment by GPs because it is their human right.
This comes at a time when Government figures show that half of patients can't get an appointment with their doctor within 48 hours.
Tory MP Chris Skidmore, who is campaigning for tougher regulation on health tourism, has obtained figures showing that health tourists currently owe the NHS £40 million in unpaid bills.

Our NHS must be the best in the world. It has a duty to anyone whose life or long-term health is at risk, but it is not there to serve the health needs of the globe.
With so many people being allowed to come here, will it not be a burden on the whole infrastructure of the NHS?
We must change this human rights law for one that favours the British people, and not that of foreign health tourists. The NHS is our pride and joy and we must not destroy it by overloading it to breaking point.
Now we hear the poverty-stricken ex-Soviet state of Moldova is letting its citizens get a Romanian passport costing 100 Euros.
Once they have got it they can travel freely to the UK without a visa, and EU rules mean there is nothing Britain can do to stop them staying.
I strongly agree with UKIP leader Nigel Farage who says: "If we want to take back control, we need to leave the EU."

“I thoroughly agree.
What is the world coming to when foreigners paying UK tax and national insurance should expect NHS treatment. We have enough drunks and long-term benefit scroungers to look after without worrying about people from further afield.”

“Or just stop voting for idiots who probably will never be affected by this insanity. Unfortunately most who vote in this country are just plain stupid voting for one or other of these clowns then moaning when it all goes pear shaped.”
