Murderer will be sentenced
KILLER Lee Shaw is due to be sentenced for murder today.
The 34-year-old was found guilty of murdering Dalbagh Singh Malhi at Stafford Crown Court yesterday.
Mr Malhi, aged 29, died from a stab wound to the chest after being attacked in Wellfield Road, Bentilee.
Shaw, of Community Drive, Smallthorne, had denied murder, claiming he stabbed Mr Malhi in self-defence.
