Murder charge man in court after Bentilee street knife death
A 33-YEAR-OLD man will appear before a judge today charged with murder.
Lee Shaw, of Community Drive, Smallthorne, is accused of killing Dalbagh Singh Malhi at Wellfield Road, Bentilee, on Sunday.

Shaw spoke only to confirm his age, name and address during a two-minute hearing at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court yesterday.
He was committed to Stafford Crown Court.

Twenty-nine-year-old Mr Malhi, of Beverley Drive, Bentilee, who was known as Bugsy, died from a wound to the chest.
