Mum cooks up hospital cash
MUM Debra Cummins is using her cookery skills to raise money for the hospital that helped save her teenage son when he was born.
Debra, who runs Pampered Chefs, will hold a food demonstration and workshop to collect cash for Crewe's Leighton Hospital's £1 million neo-natal unit appeal.
The event will include recipes and cooking tips with a Diamond Jubilee theme.
Debra's 13-year-old son Lewys spent three months on the neonatal unit after he was born with a congenital heart defect which required surgery.

The hospital is raising cash to move the current cramped unit into a more spacious centre.
It is hoped the funds can be raised over the next two years.
The cookery show will be held at St John's Church Hall, Hartford, on May 18 from 10.30am. There will also be raffles, stalls.
Tickets cost £7.50 which includes a free recipe book. To book, call 07786 706754.
