Engineers Darren, aged 39, and Jason, aged 38, 15-year-old St Margaret Ward School pupil Jake and 39-year-old IT worker Paul decided to complete the challenge to raise money for the Ruby Owen appeal.
The family of the three-year-old brain tumour patient, who live in Kidsgrove, needs to raise £160,000 within weeks to pay for treatment in America. They need to raise £250,000 for the treatment, which uses a special proton beam to accurately target radiation.
Darren, from Kidsgrove, said: "We heard about Ruby's plight and we wanted to do something to help."
Anyone who wants to sponsor the team can call Darren on 07541 096292.
