Mosque nearing completion

ALMOST THERE: Work is well under way on the £1.6 million mosque on Regent Road in Hanley.

Builders have been there since January and the project is now nearing completion.

The mosque has been built using funds raised by the Muslim community. Appeals and dinner events have been organised to raise the necessary funds.

the mosque will welcome school visits and those interested in Islam.
