I think the £95,000 the council plans to spend on the two sculptures is not a good idea. That amount of money could certainly be put to a better use.

We have not even got a job centre in Uttoxeter for all the people out of work.

Having to go to Burton upon Trent every week to sign on is ridiculous, having to pay for a bus fare out of what bit they are paid just isn't on.

My daughter and I went with my grandson last week and waiting around made us miss a bus, so we didn't get home until late.

What about having our precinct closed in? Well at least have the roof on we were promised. We noticed all the plans they are making to improve Burton.

I think we deserve more improvement in Uttoxeter. We haven't even got any big stores like Asda, Matalan or any discount stores.
