Missing chief talks planned
COUNCILLORS will meet this week to discuss the continuing absence of their chief officer.
Chris Harman, Stoke-on-Trent City Council's interim chief executive, has been on sick leave since September 30, after the council's human resources committee decided not to appoint him to the chief executive position full-time.

Last week 22 councillors called for a meeting to discuss reports Mr Harman is seeking a pay-off to quit the authority.
The human resources committee is expected to discuss any settlement with Mr Harman on Friday.

We have been there before.”

“Has the medical profession got to the bottom of Mr Harman's mystery illness yet?
Surely it's a condition that can be cured by leaving sour grapes out of one's diet?”
