Match Report: Hednesford Town 3 Port Vale 2
PORT Vale tumbled out of the Staffs Senior Cup when they let a two-goal lead slip at Hednesford Town.
A strong Valiants team including Louis Dodds, Sam Morsy and the returning John McCombe went two up after 57 minutes.
But the plucky home side hit back to level matters and then clinched victory in injury time.
Dodds gave Vale the lead with a 47th-minute header and centre-half Dougie Price doubled the advantage when he headed in a Chris Shuker corner 10 minutes later.

“With 7 players regularly in the first team or on the bench, and the goalkeeper regularly on the bench, from a 2 goal winning position I would have thought they would beat Hedensford Town. This must be a worry for MA”
