Memento of a great man
LIMITED edition mugs are to be sold at Vale Park on Saturday to mark the unveiling of the Sproson Statue.
Finsbury China have produced the ware on behalf of the Sproson Fund.
The mugs, pictured above, are numbered, one to 100, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis by volunteers Brenda and Roy Boden near the main entrance from 1pm.
They carry a picture of Vale legend Roy Sproson and the statistics and honours of a career which saw him make a record 837 starts for the club.

The mugs are priced at £15 and all proceeds will go towards the Sproson Fund, which still needs to raise around £3,000 to cover all the costs of the statue project.
