Map shows Woolies fate
WHEN high street favourite Woolworths called in the administrators late last year, shoppers were left wondering what the future held for units vacated by the retailer.
Now The Sentinel has created a map using services from Google to show what has happened since the 11 branches in the region closed their doors over the course of Christmas and the new year.

This week TJ Hughes confirmed plans to open one of its discount department stores in the former Hanley Woolworths.
Elsewhere, the Yorkshire Trading Company will take over the store in Leek, while the Woolies branch in Newcastle has become a 99 bargain shop.
B&M Bargains was reported to be keen to take on the stores in Congleton and Nantwich store in January.
But there have been no reports of development for the empty shops in Sandbach or Burslem, Stoke, Longton or Stone.
