Man suffers serious head injuries in Stoke after being hit by motorbike
A MAN has suffered serious head injuries after he was involved in a collision with a motorbike in Stoke.
The crash occurred on Leek Road near to Staffordshire University at around 8.35am this morning.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said an off duty paramedic, who had been on her way to work, came across the accident and was able to start treating the pedestrian for his injuries.
“She was quickly joined at the scene by an ambulance and paramedic officer,” the spokesman added.

“The pedestrian, a man believed to be in his 50’s, suffered serious head injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene.
“The man’s condition was stabilised and he was transferred by ambulance to University Hospital North Staffordshire for further emergency treatment.”
The motorcyclist was uninjured in the crash.
