Man requires hospital treatment after Stoke dog bite
POLICE are investigating after a 70-year-old man was bitten by a dog in Stoke.
The man was walking his dog in Boothen Green yesterday when it was attacked by an unknown dog.

As he attempted to separate the dogs he suffered puncture wounds to his hands which required treatment at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
The man’s dog also suffered a bite wound.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the dog, which is described as grey in colour, tall and possibly a Bullmastiff, or who may know of its owner.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Michael Goodwin at Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 205 of November 14.
